Berry , a region located in the Indre and Cher departments in central France, is for me the ultimate cool AND dog-friendly destination. Simply put, I went there for a few days last July with Musher, and I didn't suffer from the summer heat at all. I'm even going back this summer!

The destination's numerous ponds , forests and natural spaces make it an excellent option for the summer.

The Brenne Regional Natural Park , nicknamed the land of a thousand ponds, offers numerous opportunities for walks in an environment where water is ever-present. Between Bourges , Châteauroux , and the Loire Valley châteaux , there's also plenty to do in terms of culture.

The calmness of the place is also a real asset for dogs who appreciate peaceful environments.
