The GR34 coastal path circles Brittany, starting in the Manche department near Mont-Saint-Michel and ending in Loire-Atlantique near Saint-Nazaire. It naturally loops around the Crozon Peninsula. I've mentioned two spots here, but in reality, there are 120km to explore, sometimes along the Brest harbor, sometimes facing the Bay of Douarnenez. And there are countless hidden corners to discover along your walk: small coves, large beaches, dunes, cliffs… it changes almost every kilometer. It's incredible!
Important: Keep your dog on a leash on the trail, especially during peak season as it is very busy and there are some sections that can be tricky, so for the safety of your pet and other hikers, a leash is essential.
After exploring the coastal paths, extend the adventure with your dog by discovering the unique and iconic heritage of Brittany that makes the Crozon Peninsula so charming.
One downside, however: all the beaches on the peninsula are off-limits to dogs in the summer, and there are a few exceptions outside the season…
