  • Buy your train tickets in advance and remember to take the one for your dog
  • Bring a muzzle and dog bags
  • Take your dog's favorite toy with you so that he has his "soft toy" during the trip, like children, this object will reassure him! 
  • Provide something to drink for your dog but be careful the more your dog drinks the more he will want to pee (like us in fact!) so if the journey is long and without a break, watch out for accidents...

Reims is the city of champagne!!! The city center is completely dog ​​friendly, to the great pleasure of Bianca and myself. In fact, all stores and restaurants accept dogs. There are different parks to walk your little one. I also recommend the champagne park which is very pleasant for walks with your dog. The cellars and the cathedral are unfortunately forbidden to dogs. However, you can visit the Foujita Chapel which allows access to dogs.

Lille, capital of Flanders, is a great city for traveling with your dog while remaining close to Paris. This city is home to dog-friendly parks, which are really nice for taking little walks with your doggie. You will find in particular the Lyon park, Haumont park, Northern Park or againLille Bondues aerodrome. Less than 2 hours by train from Paris with your dog, you can discover old Lille and its cobbled streets, the Grande Place, the Vieille Bourse, the Palais des Beaux-Arts...

The city of Troyes is really great for exploring the small medieval streets with your dog. It is less than 2 hours from Paris by train, which is a real plus! You will be able to observe beautiful, typical colorful houses there. Most were built in the 16th century, real historic buildings!

Strasbourg, a weekend in Alsace with your dog

Located 1h40 from Paris by train, Strasbourg representse the capital of Alsace. Known for its typical architecture and German influences, this city is great for walking with your dog while admiring the streets. Also take advantage of this Alsatian trip to savor local gastronomic specialties. Amiens, the ideal city break with your dog in the Somme

Located in the Somme department, approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by train from Paris, this medieval-looking town is crossed by the Somme river. We can say that dogs in Amiens are welcome.
