To make this trip, they left by plane. It's not easy to leave your dog in a transport cage in the hold for the whole trip… It's worrying and there's no way of knowing how he's doing. And you will see in the article that this was one of the big sources of anxiety for Thomas and Laura...
Fortunately, the PITA company is working on a connected transport cage, linked to your smartphone, which allows you to stay in contact with your dog during the flight thanks to an application on your phone. This box is a real innovation on the market, even a revolution. It has been designed for the dog and its master and to secure the transport in the hold of medium and large dogs which are not accepted in the cabin. Thus, you will be able to geolocate your animal in real time on the tarmac or in the airport for example, follow its journey and embark all the papers necessary for the trip on the same application. The box has been studied and created to meet the comfort requirements of our doggies and is notably reinforced to insulate it from noise and temperature variations. And on top of that, it has a much nicer look than the cages with bars that serve as a prison... To find out more, you can go to the Pita's website.
