Mouss and Caroline, a blogger duo
Recently, I discovered the blog “Mouss the dog”. Intrigued by this blog full of very interesting canine info, I decided to interview its editor to find out a little more about her and Moustique, the blog's mascot. Discover their portrait Wouafement Bien below.
Caroline, you have the floor: introduce yourself.
I am Caroline, 30 years old and have always been passionate about animals. Since my earliest childhood, I have lived with all kinds of animals: goats, rabbits, chickens, turtles, cats and of course dogs. By taking my independence, I could not continue to have so many animals. So I settled for an adorable Labrador. I take care of my site full time, to the delight of my Moumouss who has me for her all day.
Introduce us to Mouss, your labradamour! Where is she from ? What is his story ?
Mosquito or Mouss for the intimate 😉 is a caramel-colored Labrador who has filled me with happiness for 8 years. I took her in at a Traveler camp when she was 1 month and a half old. She was the only one of the litter that was not adopted and the mother no longer wanted to feed her little ones, my Moumouss was destined for the SPA. My heart couldn't take it and I left with her.
What is his character?
His joy of living and his crazy moments despite his age will always amaze me. She is very playful and has two guilty pleasures: food and swimming! On the other hand, she hates bathing!
Question of character, the little one has a strong one. Madame is very communicative and knows how to make herself heard when she wants hugs, going out, or when it's time to eat 🙂
What relationship do you share with her?
My relationship with her is more than fusional. She follows me everywhere and I take her as much as possible. We swim together, we walk together, we have fun together, we go to the restaurant together, I never go on vacation without her.
“Mouss the dog”: what is it?
Moss the Dog was created in 2014 with the image of my little Mouss. I started this site, simply to live from my passion. Working in chocolates (which let's face it was not unpleasant) I still realized that it was not my vocation. Since the creation of the site, I am more than happy to share my knowledge, through many articles of advice and to answer all the people in need of canine information. All articles are written by me and I always answer questions myself. You can also find us on social networks (Facebook, Google+, Twitter) and be part of the canine community too!
Do you travel a lot with Mouss?
With my Moumouss, we have always stayed in France until now. We only travel by car or train because leaving it in the hold of an airplane is out of the question. Mouss knows the sea, the Hérault and the countryside well. Living in the south of France, she has all her weekends to relax by the water (er, in the water) or take a good hike with me 😉
Once, we were both walking along the water's edge. Mouss was on a leash when a pretty little Yorkshire came to meet him (also attached). His mistress asks me that Mouss doesn't get him too close to the water because he went to the bath not long ago... Mouss had decided otherwise 🙂 Being both attached, my Moumouss took little York into his dive. Result, the soaked dog and his mistress: anything but smiling. Internally, I was so amused by the scene and the face of my Moumouss who had understood nothing of what had happened 🙂
