Roxanne, Gérard and their three dogs – hiking fans
I am happy to introduce you to Roxanne, Gérard and their three dogs in this new Portrait Wouafement Bien. It's a pretty team that loves sports and is totally in love with the mountains. canicross, Cani cross white, ski touring, downhill skiing, Cani-hiking… They do a lot of activities together. They never leave each other.
I leave the floor to Roxanne. She introduces us to their adorable dogs. You will see the story of this beautiful family is great.
Come on, it's up to you! 🙂
Our dogs and us: a love story
We are Gérard (32 years old) and Roxanne (34 years old). We are creators of photo and video content. I present the web series “Mon GR Préféré” which is produced on behalf of the French Federation of Hiking and Gérard is a professional drone pilot. We left France last January and settled in Montreal, Quebec.
We have three dogs:
-
Texas, a Jack Russell almost 8 years old, whom Gérard had taken in from an association when he was 2 years old. She was visibly beaten and had managed to flee from her executioner.
-
Jack, a siberian husky of 5 and a half years old, whom I adopted at the age of 2 months within the breeding of the Songe du Nuit Polaire.
-
Neirock, the latest arrival in the pack, an almost 3 year old Siberian husky, who joined us 11 months ago. As so often for the 3rd of a sibling, Neirock was not planned at all!! But at first glance, we literally fell in love. He wasn't in great shape when we first met him, his babysitter was sick and couldn't take care of him anymore, so he went back to the breeders who saw him born. They are the same as those of Jack, moreover both are half-brothers, because they have the same dad.
Texas is clearly the leader of the pack, she thinks she's a husky and doesn't hesitate to call her two males to order! She is a very energetic dog, always ready for adventure and whose physical abilities are inversely proportional to her small size 😉 She can be quite fearful at first, but as soon as she has confidence, she follows you everywhere.
Jack is a bit like the “daddy” of the pack. From a very young age he has been everywhere and therefore he is very sociable. With his plush head, he does not go unnoticed and he has great sympathy with people. He is also a great lazy who sometimes has difficulty leaving his sofa! He likes his comfort and he often groans to make us understand it. But once outside, he is happy and often doesn't want to come back!
Neirock is still a baby in his head. He's a big clown, always looking for the slightest stupidity he can do! He is a great sportsman, he likes to run and tow. He is also a great kleptomaniac, always on the lookout for truffles! He is filled with love but has difficulty managing his emotions whether positive or negative, so we are working on this point to help him be better on his feet!
