Céline and her pack: our Dog-Reporters fans of canicross
Today Wouafer's, I welcome our new Dog-Reporters! We welcome Céline and her 4 dogs to the Dog-Reporters team: Balto, Rhéa, Slava and Torvi! Dog sports enthusiasts straight from Belgium, who will love to share their adventures and travels with you! Come on, let's go, I'll let you discover Céline and her sports pack!
CÉLINE AND HER TEAM OF SPORTSMEN
Hello Wouafer's! My name is Céline, I am 33 years old and I come from the most beautiful side of the Charleroi region, in Belgium. I live in a small chalet along a river in a green setting just ideal for the darlings who share my life. My thing for me is canine sport. Undeniably. I'm bitten, dogs too (less when it rains), and it takes more and more space in my life. Indeed, I created my canicross association a few years ago, and our life clearly revolves around sport and dogs. Formerly a running consultant in a specialized shop, I will resume, if all goes well, studies in physical education in September 2022.
Musher and Sophie: “If you love sports to share with your dog like Céline and her pack, I invite you to discover the Top 10 pulling sports to share with your dog ! With this article, I am sure that you will try your hand at dog sport!”
canicross, Moutain Biking, cani-hike, nautical sportsand to slips in winter … I practice many activities with my dogs, from which it is out of the question that I separate even for a weekend!
To facilitate transport and travel with all my dogs, my companion Antoine and myself as an assistant, have built with our amateur hands a completely dog-oriented layout that allows us to take them on all our adventures.
It's that with 4 dogs, it was starting to become complicated to find accommodation!
Musher and Sophie: “By the way, are you wondering what mode of transport would be best for your dog? I invite you to discover the article What mode of transport to choose to travel with your dog. Tips, advice, plane, train, cruise, bike and many more, this article will help you organize your stay with your dog as well as possible so that he feels good in his paws!”
A PACK OF NORDIC + 1
Now that I've set the scene, let me introduce you to my adventure partners.
Balto, a 5-year-old Siberian husky, is the dog with whom it all started. It has clearly changed my life. Thanks to him, I questioned everything, changed my habits and my way of life, decided to follow my dreams and my passions. He is a very versatile dog, his motivation will depend on his mood at the time. Sometimes a racing animal, sometimes a couch potato, you never know which foot to dance on. He is happy as long as everything goes in his direction, and that one does not jeopardize his tranquility. He is very handsome, and he knows it. 😉
Rhéa, my princess of almost 2 years. A working female dog, from the sprint line who has a foolproof mind. All she wants in life? To run !! She will never let me go and is ready to go out in all weathers. His character is amazing. Sociability, tolerance, patience, tenderness... You will only see his demon side once the starting line is in sight.
Slava, working alaskan husky just over a year old. She is a female dog who comes from a rather long distance line, she is very composed on a daily basis. We don't hear it. Except when it comes to eating of course. A dog full of love for her human masters. Much less for other dogs. I hope you won't judge me, but she's sleeping in my arms. I confess to having a special relationship with my dog. Luckily, more independent huskies don't even notice it.
Torvi, a very young german shorthaired pointer not even 3 months old, has just joined the pack. It is a bit of the unforeseen, or the unexpected. Very fan of the Nordics, I only considered the hunting dog very little. After information, it turned out that the braque meets the expectations that I place on my future life and race partner. And then Torvi appeared and turned everything upside down. He makes his place in my team of Nordic dogs, who really don't understand his passion for sticks or his way of sleeping in improbable positions. A new adventure that begins, a breed of dog to discover, and great times to come.
I can't wait to have a nice photo with my entire pack of dogs on our next trip to best illustrate our profile.
MY DOG-REPORTER ADVENTURE
I see it travel-oriented of course, but also sports-oriented. Not only does this keep us constantly moving, but it also brings about a physical and mental balance that benefits both dogs and humans.
The values that I convey on a daily basis: it is possible to do everything with your dogs, with the greatest kindness and respect for their limits and well-being.
You can find all our activities on my IG account: @the_nordic_squad. I also run a facebook blog of the same name on which I give a lot of tips about canine sport, travel, canine education, sports equipment...
