Hike of the Héric Gorges

A very nice hike! Your dog must be on a leash at the beginning, but you can release it very quickly, once you have passed the footbridge of sighs above the river 🙂 

The landscapes are superb! If there is good visibility, once the ascent is over, you will be able to see the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees. This 14 km hike is made for very good walkers (dogs and humans alike), there is an 800m drop and quite complicated passages. 

The return from the hike is along the river which runs through the bottom of the Gorges. If it's the season, take your bathing suit. The water is crystal clear and there are many basins! but in summer, the area is very busy...
